March 4th, 2003: Mardi Gras!

Our biggest holiday! Parades, parties, drinking in the streets, flashing in the streets, doing God knows what for beads Mardi Gras is what New Orleans is all about.  Make your reservations now for Mardi Gras 2000.

St. Patrick's Day
What's the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish wake? One less drunk, of course! St. Patrick's always means a big party all over the Quarter. Come to Rawhide to find yourself an Irishman for the night.

Easter Sunday ~ April 20, 2003
You won't believe the Easter bonnets you'll see around the Quarter today and most of them will be on the guys. Lots of Easter festivities should keep you amused. Don't miss Rawhide's very own Best Basket Contest. Its always been a BIG hit with the crowd.

Jazz Fest
The world's biggest and best music festival draws huge crowds to the New Orleans fairgrounds by day, and hot men to the bars by night. Next to Mardi Gras, this is New Orleans' busiest tourist event of the year. It is so big that it encompasses two weekends, the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May.

Memorial Day
Gay men from all over the South pour into New Orleans over this three-day weekend to kick off the summer. It's usually too hot to wear many clothes. Pity!On Monday, May 26th, Rawhide 2010 will host the Mascara 2002 Awards at 7pm.

July 4: Independence Day
It's on Thursday this year, and the parties will be going on all weekend long. (America, you might be 226 this year, but you don't look a day over 200. Really.)

Southern Decadence Weekend!
GAY MARDI GRAS! The event of the year for gay New Orleans. Revelers from around the world pack the French Quarter for a weekend of unbridled decadence and the funkiest parade of the year. Kick off this weekend with the Black and Blue Review, time TBA. Not to be missed!
